My art muse is nature pattern, reflected light, plant shadow, stone texture, forest sounds, and watery movement. I paint with oil, raw earth pigment, acrylic, ink, gouache, watercolour, photo transfer and wax. I photograph these works and transform them into mandalas in the digital dark room. I do the same with light paintings taken with my camera in long exposure mode.

In the series "Ancient Light" I began with long exposure light paintings of crystallized artifacts in a Mayan cave. Then in the digital darkroom, I transformed these swirly images into mandalas. These images awaken a timeless communion with the past, provide space for reflection and inspire the remembrance of an ancient world interwoven with the present day. For the "Elemental Mandalas" series I transformed original fine art paintings with digital studio kaleidoscopic magic.
