About Lisa Lipsett
MIXED MEDIA PAINTINGS INSPIRED BY NATURE Lisa Lipsett is a Canadian mixed media artist who has been painting for over 20 years. Her art muse is nature- her patterns, reflected light, shadows and watery movement. She paints in oil, raw earth pigment, acrylic, ink, gouache, watercolour, photo transfer and wax and is a no "holds barred artist", who loves to experiment and discover. She is president of the Salt Spring Gallery of Fine Art, an artist owned and managed fine art collective. In Lisa's words: "My world burst open the day I painted the way a vase of tulips feels instead of the way it looks.
